We have read Flat Stanley by Jeff Brown, made our own "Stanley", collected addresses, and written letters to host families. Yesterday we said, "goodbye" to Stanley as we walked him to the post office to be mailed. The second graders have chosen host families for two of their own Flat Stanleys. Stanley will be traveling to some exciting places in the United States this year! We can't wait to get him back to see and hear about all the places he travels. We will keep track of his mileage and learn something about each place he visits!
